Ready to enhance your cold water technique? Look no further than 'Breath of Fire', the latest collaboration between The Cold Water Therapist and The Social Breathwork.
Our unique approach includes an initial guided regulation breathing practice to prepare you both mentally and physically for the cold water immersion. You'll be learning how to use your breath in the most effective way to ensure you enter the cold fully relaxed.
To follow, in a safe & supported group environment, we take our cold dip in the sea, having put ourselves in the best position possible to reap all the health benefits of cold water therapy. To complete the session, Sharon will introduce you to the 'Breath of Fire' - a re-warming breathwork technique that you can use in your future cold water explorations.
You'll leave with an understanding of how to regulate your nervous system, before, during and after cold water exposure.
~ Access level - Moderate, one set of steps to the beach.
~ The water is cold - Tow floats are essential (Jenny can loan these).
~ What to bring, where to meet and everything you need to know will be detailed in your confirmation email.
