About The Breathwork Session

A uniquely wonderful breathwork experience where you are given space and opportunity to breathe, relax, explore, release, heal and much more. All classes are fully guided in a safe and welcoming space with the aim of supporting growth, healing and transformation. 

The session will include a full introduction to the session and breathing overview, and a 60-minute guided breathing session, followed by heart-opening meditation, integration and relaxation time. There will also be time to ask Sharon any questions or to speak about your experience.  

What to expect

Sharon, Leading Practitioner and Founder of The Social Breathwork creates a friendly, welcoming and safe space, helping you ease into and fully embrace the experience. 

Following an introduction, and a demonstration of the breathing technique, you will be invited to lie down for your very own journey to start. To carefully selected music, you will be gently guided through a journey of relaxation, breath/body connection and conscious connected breathing to support healing, deep relaxation, discovery and personal growth.  The beauty of this experience is that you are fully in control and can choose how the session moves forward for you - the more you relax into the breathing the better, and it is best to come with an open mind, and an open heart, and be open to all that may arise on the day. 

The breathing technique and what you may experience

We use Conscious Connected Breathing in this class, where we breathe in a continuous circular breathing pattern, using the mouth. 

Breathwork experiences are different for everybody, and your experience will be unique to you and your path. You will be guided to relax with the breath and as you melt away into your own experience, the inner chatter and critical mind will quieten down, opening up a deep connection with the body and yourself - it is here where we can start to clear stress, anxiety, stored emotions and other 'stuff' that no longer serves you and you feel ready to release.

As you move through the class, you may experience a variety of sensations and/or emotions. This is completely normal and is due to the release of stored stress from the nervous system. We chat about this at the start of the session in more detail so you are aware, should it happen. Many people report having profound experiences and leave the breathwork sessions feeling much lighter, clearer, calmer, more content, empowered and deeply relaxed. 

It really can be an experience like nothing you have experienced before! It is perhaps hard to think, at this point, that a breathing session could have such an impactful experience on your life, but trust me, it can!
