ABOUT
Our modern, fast-paced and overstimulated way of living can cause even the most robust of us to experience times of stress, worry, overwhelm and anxiety. We will all experience some form of stress and feelings of anxiety from time to time, but in today's world, it is becoming more constant and impacting our daily lives.
Times are changing and we need new and effective ways to manage our physical health and mental wellbeing for living in the modern day. Â This free open session shows you how and will be giving you easy-to-apply methods and tools you can start using immediately.
WHY BREATHING?Â
Research has shown huge shifts in our everyday breathing habits due to our pressured and overstimulated way of living, which in turn, is increasing our feelings of uncertainty, stress and anxiety, and poor sleep, with many of us feeling more disconnected, on autopilot and exhausted from being unable to switch off, and experiencing pain, blood pressure and inflammation in the body.
But, the good news is, by making some simple small changes to your breathing and adding quick bursts of breathwork, you will notice a significant difference in your stress and anxiety levels, your mood, energy levels, sleep, overall health and feel and improvement in your general wellbeing.

I will be covering more of this at the event, and we will put it into practice!
WHAT'S BEING COVERED AT THE EVENT?
In this welcoming, enjoyable and informative open session, I will
- Explain and show why how you breathe impacts and increases feelings of stress, fatigue and anxiety, impacting your physical and mental health.
- Show you how I use breathing to overcome stress, anxiety and burnout, which you can also start to use
- Show you the 2 most effective breathing techniques you should use, how and when to use them
- Provide a quick demonstration and practical experience so you can feel the difference for yourself
- Offer guidance on how you can assist a loved one, young person or family member
You will leave with knowledge and simple tools that you can start to use immediately and in your everyday life.Â
I look forward to seeing you there.

A quick note from SharonÂ
Hi there, and thank you for taking the time to read this. This campaign is very close to my heart.
As someone who experienced chronic stress, overthinking and anxiety for many years before finding breathwork, and understanding the need to breathe better, I have first-hand experience of how it can impact your daily life, thoughts, relationships, confidence and physical and mental wellbeing.
My mission with The Social Breathwork is to help people regain some control over, and reduce, feelings of stress, overwhelm and anxiety by simply exploring how they breathe. I know it sounds so simple, and if I’m honest I thought the same some years ago, but discovering that my breathing was one of the key catalysts for how I was feeling changed my life, and I would love to show you how you can do that too.   Â
If you are currently experiencing higher levels of anxiety, stress, burnout, fatigue, overwhelm or feeling a little out of sync – and many of us are these days - or, you know someone who is and you are concerned for their wellbeing, please reach out or start by popping along to this open event.
If you can’t make it, I have lots of information on the website to help you. If you haven’t already done so, you can head on over www.thesocialbreathwork.com or we run weekly classes in Linlithgow every Monday, or take our quick breath check and uncover your breathing pattern.
