About the event

Come and discover the transformational benefits of Conscious  Connected Breathing.

For many of us, the experiences that we've had as we've moved through life may have brought about trauma, disappointment, frustration, and anger and we've never had the opportunity to really express that so it gets stored in the nervous system, repressed. We experience all kinds of symptoms through not having the conscious opportunity to bring awareness to our breath and to our bodies.

We can feel more overwhelmed, stressed, anxious and heavy with emotion. So, when we start to breathe in a conscious connected breathwork session, like this, energetic blocks can be released, and personal power and creativity can be restored and enhanced.

Breathwork is a powerful technique for exploration, discovery, healing, and personal growth. Working with the breath enables you to take better care of yourself and release beliefs and patterns that no longer serve you. Most people leave breathwork sessions feeling clearer, calmer, more content and relaxed.

Benefits of Breathwork

  • Release toxins from the body

Many more that you will discover for yourself on your journey.

What is Conscious Connected Breathing in this class?

Conscious Connected Breathing is a breathing technique where you intentionally connect the inhale with the exhale without any pauses - a circular breathing rhythm. Using the mouth to breathe and using conscious connected breathwork allows us to connect with the sympathetic nervous system, release stored trauma and stress in the body, and connect with ourselves on a much deeper level.. and more!

This Breathwork technique bi-passes the critic in our brain and talks directly to the body. Breathwork has the ability to help us reduce stress and open our up creativity. After several minutes of breathing, you may feel a tingly sensation of energy as your body starts moving the stuck energy in your system. Many people report having profound experiences. Your experience will be unique to you and your path. Breathwork is different for everyone and different every time you do it.

Sharon, the founder of The Social Breathwork, fully guides you into your session and advises you to be open to all possibilities and limit ‘set expectations’ for your breathwork session. We advise you to move into and through the session with flexibility and openness – to go with the flow and let go. The breath and body will know exactly what it needs and will guide ‘you’ through the experience when you embrace it.

Sharon offers a welcoming and safe space so that you can fully relax during your sessions.
