About the event

If you've been hearing the 'buzz' about breathwork of late and are keen to try it, please do come along and join us. Our classes provide a friendly, enjoyable and safe space - with a great group of people.

The classes

Each week will be a different focus and breathing experience, and you will also learn breathing techniques to support you in your day-to-day life. All classes are designed to help you relax, recharge, reduce stress and overwhelm, help you sleep better, and improve energy levels, and your overall health and wellbeing. It's amazing how different you can feel in 60 minutes or less.

We have lots of exciting breathing techniques and sessions to share with you - feel a shift in your energy, stress levels and mood.

Booking and registering are required for all classes to make us aware of any medical or health concerns prior to the class (so breathing techniques can be adjusted if required).

Class Information

We will send further information about the class details in the confirmation email, but just so you know what you will need for the classes -

  •  A yoga mat and blanket, and cushion to support your back should you wish. Being seated is also fine should lying down not be possible.
  • Wear loose-fitting clothing
  • Eye mask if you have one (one will be provided in class)

You can read more about breathwork classes here should you like more information. Sessions are for 18 years and above.  If you are pregnant, have epilepsy or have severe cardiovascular concerns, some techniques would not be advised. We will adjust breathing for you in the class, so please make us aware of any medical conditions when booking.

The breathing and wellbeing assessments and techniques offered by Sharon Burkey and The Social Breathwork are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any medical condition. They are designed to support but should not replace medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment from your GP or healthcare provider, unless you decide for them to do so.

When we begin our nervous system reset and explore breathwork more deeply in week 3, I will ask you to complete a medical questionnaire to ensure the breathing techniques are suitable for you or need to be adapted if needed.

Breathwork and body-based practices can be a powerful tool for both physical and mental wellbeing, but if you have any serious concerns about your health, whether physical or mental, please reach out to your healthcare provider.
