About the event

Monday 15th May Class

This is the first day of Mental Health Awareness Week. To support this year's theme 'It's 'just' anxiety', which is designed to raise awareness and understanding around anxiety and anxiety disorder, we will be breathing to reduce and shift and reduce feelings of anxiety in a deeper breathing session. 

I will be teaching you an effective breathing technique that you can use at any time to shift how you feel, reset, reduce and clear feelings of anxiety, whilst also calming the mind and resetting the nervous system.

You will feel a shift in this class and leave feeling calmer, clear, less anxious, empowered and energised!

We will be using a form of breathwork called conscious connected breathing in this session, which is a wonderful and highly effective way of breathing to shift feelings of anxiety, and stress and remove chronic tension that is deeply rooted within the body and mind. This allows a natural process for healing, from the inside, and provides amazing benefits for your overall health and wellbeing.

Class Information

If you've been hearing the 'buzz' about breathwork of late and are keen to try it, please do come along and join us. Our classes provide a friendly, enjoyable and safe space with a great group of people, and are designed to have you leaving with a new spring in your step!

In the classes you will be shown, and practice,  a variety of techniques that will support you in your day-to-day life before moving on to the main breathing session where you will be invited to sit or lie down and be guided through a breathwork journey, often to music, designed to support and improve your physical and mental wellbeing. All classes are guided and you are fully supported and encouraged throughout the session. 

We will send further information on what you need to bring and how to prepare for the class, but just so you know what you will need for the classes - 

  •  A yoga mat and blanket, and cushion to support your back should you wish. Being seated is also fine should lying down not be possible. If you do not have access to a yoga mat, just let us know at the time of booking and we will provide it. 
  • Eye mask if you have one (eye masks are provided in class for those who want one)

All you need to do is head along and simply follow my guide, relax... and breathe ;)

Booking Information

Booking and registering are required for all classes to make us aware of any pregnancy, medical or health concerns prior to the class (so breathing techniques can be adjusted if required). Certain breathing techniques make changes to our oxygen intake and physiology quickly, therefore, are not advised for some conditions, so please do let us know when booking and we will adapt the techniques for you. Thank you.
